Mission

Chiron’s therapy mission is to provide a safe and positive space for healing of the human mind, body and spirit though connecting with the mind, body and spirit of the horse.

Who we work with
I primarily work with young adults, adults and families, with special focus on women. I help you build resilience and become better and more authentic versions of yourself, adapting to your starting point – whether you want to overcome anxiety, depression, build self-esteem, improve inter-personal relationships, overcome trauma and burnout.

Approach
We offer horse-guided therapy based on the LEAP model. This model is recognised by The British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and has been used on over 1000 clients in the UK as therapy or learning interventions.

My practice is based on a number of influences that I have trained in and brought together over the years, both here in the UK and Sweden, including systems psychoanalysis (gained through training at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust), positive psychology, neuroscience, mindfulness and acceptance.

I adapt these approaches with my clients based on what is happening in the now. We work by exploring behaviour, response and emotional patterns of relating which unfold in the present moment, as well as past incidents that have shaped current patterns. With the horses, we create a intuitive connection for lasting, positive change, building on your existing strengths.
